Zync
UI Design, Data/Info, Logos/Icons
In collaboration with Amy Brumet.
Zync is an athlete injury and performance management solution for collegiate level Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC's).
Using the Athletic Department at the University of Washington as a case study, we were able to take an ethnographic research approach to understand the ATC's workflow.
The logo design is an extension of the dynamic and athletic feel of collegiate athletics.
The design of Zync has a focus on the tablet computing solution to increase the mobility and overall performances of ATC's.
Zync features a centralized location for all updates and messages, allowing instant communication between Athlete, Coach, and ATC's
One unique feature of Zync is the shortened feedback loop between Athlete and ATC's. Athletes are able to self evaluate and log their progress with the ATC's receiving real time updates.
ATC's can then prescribe and adjust the treatment/exercise plan on a daily basis based on the Athlete's feedback.
The mobile version of Zync is used mainly by the Athlete to keep track of his or her daily exercise routine.
